Eat all the tropical fruits
Bali is the perfect place to go for fresh fruit; fruit that you may not find in your own country. My sister and I usually always start the day with a fresh pineapple and dragon fruit. There are also many lovely cafes where they make delicious smoothie bowls (Cafe Organic and Kynd Community, for example)
Bali is truly a surfer’s paradise. Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or pro surfer, you’ll find the perfect wave. This was my second time surfing personally, so my sister and I booked a lesson at Legian and had a great time.
Visiting Temples
The Balinese people come from different backgrounds, so they don’t all practice the same religion. What I found great is that everyone seems to be very tolerant and they all get along. Although the main religion is Hinduism, I highly recommend visiting a few temples and participating in traditional activities/dances to get a better understanding of the culture.
Taking pictures on the swings
It seems to be a very popular thing to come across various swings and birdhouses while visiting tourist spots anywhere in Bali. Before I came, I thought it was a bit tacky, but then I got there and this happened …… I must admit it was great for taking pictures and very typical of Bali.
There are many options for watching the sunset while sipping a drink on the beach. You can go almost anywhere in Canggu, Seminyak or Uluwatu for the most memorable experience. A few places we really like are Finns, Potato Head, Sundays and Single Fin, but the list could go on and on.
