I’ve been on the east coast of Canada for quite some time, and two weeks before I left, I suddenly felt that it was a shame to only have one national park for a trip to a country with so much natural resources and almost all of it in the city! I started looking for national parks near Toronto and day trips out of Toronto, and finally booked a day trip to Bruce Peninsula National Park for nearly NT$4,500 per person, and fine-tuned the original itinerary because the tour operator only schedules tours on Tuesdays and Saturdays (how much did I want to go?). (how much do you want to go XD)
Due to the distance, we had to get up at 5:30 on the day of the trip! The inert little devil inside of me showed up and I started to regret a little why I booked this day trip. But I must say, the regret of the day was not even close to the great satisfaction the trip brought.
The sky was clear all day on the day of the Bruce Peninsula National Park tour! I was anxiously waiting for the minibus to arrive early in the morning, and as soon as I got on the bus, I started to catch up on my sleep, I think it was after 8 years of being on the tour, so I had to sleep on the bus and pee off the bus!
Inglis Falls
Inglis Falls is located in the center of the Inglis Falls Conservation Area and is one of the three major waterfalls that surround the city of Owen Sound, with Inglis Falls being the largest and most visited. The Inglis Falls, which originates from the Sydenham River, is 18 meters high, and its majestic volume of water, surrounded by luxuriant mountains, is quite therapeutic.

The group picked a few spots along the trail with a good view to take photos, but since the tour guide didn’t specify the meeting time, we were worried that the minibus would leave us and run away, and found that there were no more groups around, so we rushed back!
Big Tub Lighthouse
After a short nap, I got off again! Since GYG’s itinerary does not indicate the order and time points of each scenic spot, every time I got off the bus, I felt a sense of surprise of opening a treasure chest!

The Big Tub Lighthouse near Tobermory, lit in 1885, is a 13-meter-tall wooden structure that serves as a key point for guiding boats on Lake Huron and Georgian Bay and is still in use today.

Although the lighthouse is the landmark of this place, I love the crystal clear water of the lake more than the lighthouse. With the lovely little houses on the other side and the green unscientific trees, there is really no reason not to love this place!
Tobermory Township
Tobermory Lakeside is the only place we visited that had living facilities throughout the day, and it is also the rare place to find accommodation in the entire Bruce Peninsula National Park (if you don’t want to camp), so it should not be hard to guess that stopping at the town means it is time to eat!
After parking the car, the tour guide finally explained the meeting time, and the time to eat and experience the town was less than 1.5 hours!
First of all, let’s talk about the most anticipated soup, as a soup control for several days without soup is really unbearable, it is easy to catch the opportunity to order soup, this day’s daily soup has vegetable clear soup and mushroom soup can choose, I chose mushroom soup. The soup was so thick that I felt like I was drinking some kind of sauce? Although I could eat the mushrooms, the taste was really salty to the point of making my head numb. The pizza is a little better, the crust is thin and crispy, and the bite will click and click, to my liking, the toppings are also OK, cheese, onions, meat, bacon, seriously bacon cheese burger flavor, but …… is also the more salty you eat, why in the end Canadian food is generally so heavy QQ This meal is the best performance is The best part of the meal was the wings, which were covered with a sweet and spicy sauce, a bit like Korean fried chicken, a familiar taste, the skin was plain but the meat was juicy and tender, and there were not only wings, but also small chicken legs, you can! The accompanying lettuce can be dipped in garden salad dressing, eat more heavy things suddenly feel this lettuce is actually good.
